I think I loved them because I always knew there was going to be that point in the movie where Rocky went from feeling weak and defeated, to turning his attitude around, working his guts out (while they played some amazing music that totally pumped you up!), to Rocky being victorious in the end …ahhh yessss…. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. I’m not sure how many people enjoyed Rocky Balboa, but I was definitely a fan. ![]() There are plenty of iconic scenes in Rocky, but the scene I am going to review today is from one of the later Rocky films - Rocky Balboa. They are films that my Mum loved, which, in turn, made me love them, due to growing up watching them over and over again. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. The Rocky films are films that mean a lot to me. Thirty years after the ring of the first bell, Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement and dons his gloves for his final fight against the reigning heavyweight champ Mason The Line Dixon. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. The Rocky speech that Rocky Balboa gives to his son in the final installment of the Rocky series is one of the most widely recognized scenes in all of the Rocky movies. ![]() “The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows.
